Seer of SoundSat Dharma Vidya is the wisdom of the Seer of Sound. Sat Dharma Vidya is the knowledge of spiritual truth. Sat Dharma Vidya is the eternal witness of the Self. Law of NatureVajra is the diamond thunderbolt. Dharma is divine law or logos. The law of nature is the created order as clear and sharp as the diamond thunderbolt that cuts through the darkness of ignorance. Wisdom is non-dual knowledge. The embodiment of wisdom, Mañjuśrī, is also Vajradharma. Vajra Dharma is both compassion and wisdom.

Union of OnenessWhat is the single purpose of horse, carriage, and coachman working together but to serve the rider?
Do you know who is in charge of your ride? 🐎❓ 🚃❓ 🤷♂️❓ Your body? Your mind? Your speech? Who is the rider? |
A calm and focused mind, resilience to stress, improved memory, and vital energy are all within your reach.
BODHI TARA |
Where the mind goes, the energy follows. Calm your mind and restore your body's ability to generate and store energy. Like any form of exercise, training your mind takes energy!
ZENWISE TAOWISE |
Letting go is not as simple as emptying your mind.
Much like decluttering your space,
Calming and relaxing
Your body and mind takes effort.
Like a mirror not holding on to the reflection,
So should your mind not cling on to the thoughts.
When you can clearly see through the illusory
Nature of reality, you will be free.
When your emotion is no longer thirsty,
You will enter the state of serenity.
You can finally see the wood despite the trees -
Your first glimpse of Zen.

We each have our version of a story, created and coloured by our experiences to date, i.e. looing through the spectacles. They may be rose-coloured, or they may be grey. We then add a layer of assumptions and projections about the future.
Meditation trains the mind to become still. In everyday life, this stillness translates to the ability to pause. Pause before you assume. Pause to reflect. Pause before you react.
We are not saying that you will become a sage undisturbed by chaos in a week!
It takes time, but the benefits begin to show very quickly. In as little as eight weeks, fMRI scans have shown growth in the areas of the brain that govern memory and learning and shrinkage in the part of the brain that can trigger anxiety.

Know RealityMeditation improves your ability to focus.
It has obvious benefits for work and study, but also our relationships. Being able to focus helps us to be present with the people in our lives. When someone gives you their full and undivided attention, you feel it. You feel seen. You feel heard.

When the mind is calm, it reduces the stress hormones in the body to prepare it for fight or flight.
It takes the pressure off the body in many ways. Such as reduce blood pressure and improve heart health. It boosts the immune system. It may even help balance body weight.
Cortisol is a stress hormone that triggers the body to store fat, and we all know we tend to make less healthy food choices when stressed.
Meditation even boosts the brain's production of the chemical dopamine.
Dopamine makes us feel good. It can get boosted by some healthy activities such as sleep, exercise and some healthy foods.
Unfortunately, dopamine can get triggered by other unhealthy activities such as drug use, bliss-point foods (foods deliberately created to make you crave more) and screen time.
Meditation can train the mind to produce that feel-good effect. It can help in releasing the grip of unhealthy and addictive behaviours. Recent research has shown meditation to be helpful when giving up cigarettes.

Great VisionLearning to practice meditation with friends also has its own advantages. You are wired to be a social creature. Feeling connected to others who share your interests helps you feel supported on your path
May luck attend you. May great vision ascend you. May your friends be good, rational, excellent, auspicious and truthful. May your friends enlighten you with virtue, inspiration, sensibility, insight, openness and nobility. |
I really like your teaching. I practice, it becomes real. I do not have good memory even when I was young. Now I am old I cannot remember, but when I learn dharma, it's like an imprint in my mind. When you talk about meditate with shining consciousness that is a good offering to all and every Buddha, this is real teaching to me. IVORY LE, CALIFORNIA |
We were talking about how much we enjoyed your talk last week on sleep. So-so said it has changed the way she sleeps and now she feels fully rested each day. I liked being able to watch your video first thing Saturday morning. I really enjoyed your last Tantra lesson and will listen to it again (and maybe again). Thank you. CAROLE WHITE, CALIFORNIA |
Yes! That's it! Know yourself and know your enemy (obstacles) and you will win 100 battles. It's the knowing yourself. But, you can be a detective! You can recognize your past life by recognizing how you have recreated it in your present life. You will find these clues on/in your body, your environment and your choices. You can discover your past life through dharma practice and by asking specific questions and trusting the answers. So maybe Feng Shui is reflected on your body, in your environment and in your past-present-future. Okay. Feng Shui is more fun than I thought it would be. SALLIE GILMORE, CALIFORNIA |
Thank you. I've listened to a few more of your broadcasts which I again found interesting, and helpful in putting some of my personal experience into context. You actually make more sense to me than anyone I've listened to in a long time. You're good. Your explanations of right and wrong views are on point. You explain why something doesn't work and how things work. Unlike a lot of Buddhist teachers who are dogmatic, claiming superiority of dharma with no explanation on why. Thanks. |
I have been practicing your simple but secret tips that you recommended since Saturday. I have experienced a positive change particularly with my feet already. Prior to this I was aware of poor flexibility in my ankles and corresponding feeling of poor circulation/feeling of sensation in my feet! So many thanks and blessings to you. |
I have been enjoying your teachings by watching reruns. The HEALING SLEEP series was particularly important for me to hear... Please continue to include teachings on the Taoist/TCM approach for health and longevity. Practitioners need to retain the 'precious vehicle' at least until greater Realization is attained... Thanks again for your generous teachings. |
Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the session today. I have been wondering how all the separate elements that you have been talking about over the past months might come together, and now I can just start to see how this might be. I am very excited about this learning. I hope I can stay the course and convert learning into experience. Very many thanks to you. You are a most patient teacher. |
To have access to the dharma is a great blessing. To have a heart open to the dharma is also a great blessing. We search for a teacher in our hearts. For without a teacher we believe we are travelling the path alone. Finding that teacher is like finding a precious jewel. MARGARET WILLIS, LONDON |
How blessed I am in old age to have found a truly great and compassionate teacher. For this life and many lives to come, the wisdom shared selflessly in this class will aid me on that wonderful journey to awakening. |
