Akasha Yoga is a moving meditation with gentle slow movement of the fingers, hands and arms. The movement of fingers, hands and arms is called dynamic mudra. Akasha Yoga has a series of three moving mudra practices.

Ākāśagarbha 虛空藏 is one of the eight Bodhisattva Mahāsattvas that form the mandala circle of the One-Buddha-Eight-Bodhisattvas. Akasagarbha practice is deep-rooted in the dual foundation of boundless merit (puṇya) and knowledge (jñāna). Akasagarbha is wealthy like infinite space, which is inclusive of all and everything. As explained in the Mahāvaipulya Mahāsamghāta Sūtra:
“Suppose there is a millionaire who has limitless riches, an immeasurable store of large donations to people, especially to the poor and bereaved.
"Suppose that he opens his store to make offerings to those people as much as they want, and that he is thereby immensely satisfied. Like that rich man, does Akasagarbha Bodhisattva practice his meritorious acts.” |

Prajna Akasagarbha is the practice of samādhi experienced by Akasagarbha Bodhisattva. This mudra yoga was practiced by Dhyānabodhi who also entered samādhi.
Dhyānabodhi 德禪覺仁 went home after his master departed from this world. He stopped by the riverbank of his hometown Chaoyang and momentarily stood there. That moment turned into seven days and seven nights. When he came out of the samādhi, he saw thousands of people on both sides of the river with tents and chairs. They were witnessing this phenomenal man, just like the stars, stood in seemingly motionless slow movement of akasha samādhi. Thousands of people from his hometown became his disciples.
Jñānabodhi 禪智德智 , who received oral transmission of Akasha Yoga and was anointed in Mother of All Sound as his main practice, was inspired by his master to propagate the practice to the West. He has journeyed far and wide for many lifetimes on the Bodhisattva Path. His aspiration, deeply rooted in the alaya-consciousness, has reminded him lifetime after lifetime to manifest the Bodhisattva Vow.

Boundless beings I vow to ferry across.
Boundless merit and knowledge I vow to amass. Boundless dharma doorways I vow to learn. Boundless True-Beings I vow to serve. Supreme Awakening I vow to prove. May everything I do benefit all and every being in the cosmos of reality. |
Ākāśagarbha Mantra Vidyā Dhāraṇῑ
Mantra is the hidden sound of the cosmos. Mantra is older than human language. Mantra is the intelligence of cosmic existence. All and everything reverberates. Mantra is an effective method to harmonise vibrations in the body resulting in the opening up of pathways of your body and brain. Mantra along with mudra is the golden key to unlock the treasury of your potential. Mantra is time. You become receptive to every reverberation when you hold still. To be receptive you have to hear the sound directly rather than reading from text. You are in an active preoccupied state when reading from text whereas you are in a non-active, receptive state, when open to sound. You will not be conscious of reverberation of anything when you are preoccupied with aberrant thoughts and delusive emotions. In order to improve efficacy, you should seek oral transmission resonating the proper practice of mantra. |
Oṃ for the awareness.
Āḥ for the awakening. Hūṃ for the awakened. Oṃ āḥ hūṃ by eternal free emanation. Oṃ āḥ hūṃ of original nature manifestation. |
Prajñā Ākāśagarbha Dynamic Mudrā
Mudra is the open sphere of the cosmos. Mudra is the subtle navigator of life force. Mudra is the balancer of cosmic existence. All and everything transmutes. Mudra is an effective method to guide the flow of vital energy through the pathways of your body and brain. Mudra along with mantra is the golden key to unlock the treasury of your potential. Mudra is space.
The seeds of alaya are alive and constantly moving in space. The seeds of alaya are dormant and asleep in your body. The more you practice the mudra movement you may feel a certain sensation, which is the awakening of the seeds of alaya. Once your mudra movement has become natural you would no longer be "making effort" -- the seeds of alaya are now awakened. You are united with all of space alaya-consciousness and will move as One with the heartbeat of the cosmos. The experience of such a state of union is the basic concept and purpose of yoga practice. |
Here is the experience of a student in about a week with pointers from akashyogi.
By slowing down to somewhere between movement and inertia, you begin to experience the previously unconscious forces that are acting around and on you. Your size and shape feels plastic so you forget about me me me as each mudra evolves into the next in a blissful awareness. FRANK WATERS, UK |
Prajñā Ākāśagarbha is to unite you with the infinite divine. Through practice you will gain rapid progress on your spiritual evolution. You will experience the sensation of gravitational pulls and your health will improve. You will attain wisdom by awakening the seeds of store-consciousness (ālaya-vijñāna). You will enter the rhythm of nature. You will discover a deeper rhythm within the rhythm of nature. Enter this deeper rhythm and you will experience mahāsamādhi

The moment one is born as a human being, one is perfect and natural, and just like the universe, the seeds of alaya are also moving in the body. As the baby grows up, because the baby becomes conditioned by his environment, his perception becomes skewed and limited. He arose to this understanding of the world as he perceived it. Therefore, his seeds of alaya, as he grew older and older, have gradually gone to sleep. As a person is growing up, he has desires. He identifies with himself and develops a personality which feeds his ego. Therefore, he begins to limit himself with his own ego, and at the same time he is limited by the conditions of the environment.
Indeed, it is quite an achievement to blind himself and an accomplishment in attaching to delusive emotion. He has then separated himself from the union with all of creation. In the pursue of self-indulgence, he has lost his mind in divided struggle of competitive envy, arrogance, vanity and materialism. He no longer knows himself.
Know yourself. Undivide your mind. Open your wisdom eye. You can attain wisdom which cannot be given to you by others but only through your own diligent practice. You will discover the abundance of creativity when you do wake up from romantic fantasy. You are the source of wisdom in the Space-Womb, the Sky Jewel, the Akasagarbha. You have the treasury of wealth within as vast as the space.
Learn Akasha Yoga and work on yourself.
