  2. 門 Mén - door, gate; doorway, portal; class, school.
  3. The name is mentioned by Lao Tzu in the first chapter of Tao Te Ching - 玄之又玄,众妙之門 xuán zhī yòu xuán, zhòng miào zhī mén; the mysterious within the mysterious is the doorway of all wonders.
  4. Xuán appears in the oracle bone writing (see script in the header above). The original meaning of the pictograph is a rope suspended in air. You braid threads of silk together double helix style into a rope. Dye the rope and hang it up to dry; an analogy of Creation and Oneness.
  5. Xuán, therefore, also refers to metaphysics; infinity; subtle space and time; unite heaven and humanity, macrocosm and microcosm.
  6. Lineage: 仙 xiān shaman, the wise one, the ascended master of mountain peak; 羌 qiāng shepherd; 姜 jiāng shepherdess; 星 xīng star; 昰 shì yes; 夏 xià or sha grand; isha, Śiv, shri, rishi; sidhe, shee, saoi; sage, scholar, seer.
  7. 昰 shì "yes" is an alternative way to write 夏 sha grand. Its original meaning is shaman (or people of the middle country or 中国 midland), which becomes shepherd and shepherdess, then star, then yes grand.
  8. 昰 shì "Yes" is the Absolute Yes. which is an ideograph of the Creative Principle. The upper half of 昰 is 日 sun or ʘ the Absolute Origin, or the centre of Taiji. The lower half of 昰 is 正 proper, correct, right, premier. Its five strokes symbolises the proper turning of the five natural processes or elements 五行 wuxíng.
  9. 行 xíng, go; walk; move, travel; circulate, is derived from the Yellow River Map, or 河图 hetu. the ancient script of 行 looks like a crossroad (see the script 行 xíng), which is an alternative script for 道 Tao the One Path.
  10. 申 shēn extend, restrain, stretch, express, clear, unfold, retains the sound and idea of ʘ on the 十 (shí meaning 10) proper intersection. 申 is the 9th symbol in the Earthly Branches.
  11. 神 shén spirit, god, transcendent being, deity is the result of joining 示 shì and 申 shén. 示 shì means to show, manifest, reveal, and as a ideograph depicting the prayer ritual on a raised memorial to the divine which is manifesting in the sun, moon and stars, or divine guidance (divine intervention). See the lower half of 示 is 川 which shows the streaming effects of the sun, moon and stars to earth. 川 chuān means streaming.
  12. 川 chuān the streaming effects of the heavenly bodies are the gem (gravity, electricity, magnetism) of Cosmic Consciousness; the first flow is Sh; the first sound is Ah; the first element is Water. Thus, you have now the first quantum vibration and the musical note Do - Divine Oracle.
  13. You can learn the language of the oracle and the origin of all mystical, mythical and magical.

The basic structure of the Five Arts is rooted in the rhythm of nature, Yi or Change. I Ching has become the iconic but not the only text of this timeless knowledge. 易 Yi covers all and everything in space and time. It is the inter-dependency, interaction, and inter-transmutation of Yin-Yang. Nothing is forever except change. Change has four aspects.
  1. 理 Li - reason, logic, truth, meaning.
  2. 氣 Qi / Chi - vitality, vital energy, creative flow, life force.
  3. 象 Xiang - image, appearance, shape, form,
